Jeremiah was a bullfrog…right? If you know the words, then you might understand why a friendly garden hopper might have captured my heart when he popped out from under my rosemary one day while I gardened.
Just shy of two years later, this little hopper inspired a body of work that includes an early-reader children’s illustrated book, a paper doll series, a Mini Garden DIY set, and a Fruit & Veggie Guide written for children to learn about the benefits of eating a colorful and balanced diet.
Jeremiah stuck around for a while, and I hope he enjoyed himself in our little herb garden as much as we enjoyed his presence. His sweet, and calm nature was unexpectedly inspirational in a time I didn’t anticipate I would be fueled with so much creativity by this little amphibian.
